Eight explanations: allocations and implementation
01 · 17%Ecosystem and Grants
Funding for wallets, block explorers, developer tools, open-source components, security work, integrations, and applications built for Helixium. Eligibility criteria, deliverables, and review standards will be published before grants open. Payments may follow verified milestones; recipients, amounts, and public outputs will be reported. Unused HLX remains in this category unless a documented amendment is approved.
02 · 10%Validator Incentives
An initial budget for validators that help keep the network secure and available, especially while transaction volume is low. Reward rules will define participation, availability, technical performance, payment frequency, and consequences for non-compliance. Transaction fees routed to the incentive vault are separate from this allocation: they redistribute existing HLX and are not guaranteed future income.
03 · 30%Community and Sale
Funding for disclosed sale rounds and community participation programs. Each program will publish eligibility, allocation limits, pricing or reward rules, delivery, and any release schedule before launch. The planned early supporter round of 920,000 HLX (2% of total supply) is included in this 30% allocation; it does not create additional supply. The handling of unsold or undistributed HLX will also be disclosed.
04 · 10%Treasury and Emergency Reserve
A reserve for long-term operations, independent security reviews, critical infrastructure, and justified urgent needs. Spending will record the purpose, recipient, amount, and approval rationale. Normal and emergency spending will have distinct approval procedures. Decision authority, thresholds, reporting, and conflict-of-interest rules will be published before the reserve is used.
05 · 15%Founding Team
This allocation supports those building and maintaining Helixium over the long term. It will have an initial lock followed by gradual vesting; the full balance will not be freely transferable at launch. Exact dates, duration, eligibility, and treatment of unvested allocations when a team member leaves will be published before distribution. Relevant wallets and released amounts will be disclosed.
06 · 10%Strategic Partners
Reserved for partners delivering measurable technical, operational, integration, or distribution value. Being named a partner does not confer an automatic allocation. Each agreement will set a maximum amount, deliverables, milestones, and an initial lock followed by gradual vesting. Undelivered commitments will not trigger unpaid allocations; unused HLX remains in this category unless a documented amendment is approved.
07 · 8%Social Impact Reserve
3,680,000 HLX is reserved for three distinct programs: Helixium +1 (5.6%, 2,576,000 HLX), Helixium Academy (1.4%, 644,000 HLX), and Green-Computing (1%, 460,000 HLX). Each program will publish eligibility, review, payment, and outcome-reporting rules before funds are distributed.
Helixium +1 · 5.6%
Helixium +1 is a global program to support opportunities chosen by people with Down syndrome, relevant scientific research, and accessible education. The expression 4.6% + 1% = 5.6% is a symbolic reference to Helixium's 46 million supply and the aim of opening one more opportunity. It is not a medical claim or a claim that every person with Down syndrome has 47 chromosomes.
| Helixium +1 funding area | Budget |
|---|
| Employment and independent living | 1,288,000 HLX |
| Genetics and chromosome research | 858,667 HLX |
| Accessible education and digital tools | 429,333 HLX |
| Total | 2,576,000 HLX |
|---|
Qualified organizations, research institutions, and project teams worldwide will be able to apply under published rules. The design and assessment of the program will include people with Down syndrome and their representative organizations. Applications will be evaluated for benefit, feasibility, budget, accessibility, and verifiable outcomes. Approved funding may be released in stages against documented milestones.
Public reports will identify supported organizations, approved and paid amounts, and project outcomes. Beneficiaries' identities, health or genetic information, and children's personal data will not be put on a public blockchain. Applicable cross-border payment, tax, donation, and data-protection requirements will be reviewed before disbursement in each jurisdiction.
Helixium Academy · 1.4%
644,000 HLX is reserved for free and accessible technical learning resources, including Rust, blockchain infrastructure, and secure software development. Educational outputs and spending will be reported.
Green-Computing · 1%
460,000 HLX is reserved for measurable energy-efficiency improvements in network infrastructure. Rewards will depend on verifiable criteria, not unsupported environmental claims, and must not compromise network security or availability.
08 · Implementation and transparencyHow the plan becomes enforceable
The seven allocations above describe planned mainnet uses, not current testnet balances or completed on-chain controls. Before distribution, Helixium will publish the allocation wallet addresses, release and vesting schedules, spending authorities, approval thresholds, and reporting procedures. Founding team and strategic partner allocations will have an initial lock followed by gradual vesting; their exact durations remain to be finalized and disclosed before any release.
Changes to the published plan will require a dated public revision that preserves previous versions and explains the reason, affected amounts, and approval path. Fee revenue credited to the validator incentive vault is separate from the 10% genesis allocation and does not mint new HLX. The current testnet still has Sudo authority, so this page does not claim that the 46 million limit or the proposed vault controls are already immutable.
